Once a sear engagement adjustment was added in the first year or two, the triggers became pretty darn good. By changing springs and honing the engagement surfaces, most Kimber triggers can be safely reduced to about 1 to 1.5 pounds.S. Mossberg 340 magazine issue. I recently acquired a 340BB that has a magazine issue. The exterior looks good showing no abuse. No scratches or wear spots & the lips look good with bluing undisturbed. The way the rear rest makes contact with the stock is a very small spot. There is a tiny point of contact on each side of the stock. It can't be in a bind as long as the front bipod feet can slide around. When using this setup the controls are the same as a one piece rest. But, I suspect a pillar and bedding job or a cheaper stock or chassis may have achieved the same thing at a much lower price.
