With the cost of 9mm these days, I would buy a P365 chambered in 22LR for some cost effective, realistic training. The gun would need to weigh the same as a 9mm P365 and have the same trigger pull. I'm not sure if a 22LR would have enough recoil to cycle the slide.

As previously stated. Any firearm can fail. But that being said, I have had zero issues with my P365’s. Or for that matter, zero issues with any of my Sigs. P365, P320, P220, P225, P226, P229. Zero! I love those Hogue grips over the P365 grips. However after some time I moved to WC grips.
