All I needed to file was the underside of the tab ( #2 in linked picture) to get it seated correctly. After an extremely long Hiatus from the gun range. The new ks47 I purchased from pasa begged to go for the 100-yard range. Being relatively new to 762 rifles I went to the range with 5 different boxes of ammo.
The assembled Ks47 lower that I bought came with an ar10 spring and H buffer. It seemed like the KS47 barrel was way over gassed, shooting it the recoil was more like shooting an AR10 than an AK or SKS. I understand that the Green Mountain barrels are more moderately gassed.10.5” PSA KS47 total length? The guy using the gun pulled it back and it torqued to the side. It rendered his rifle useless. Anytime you add an additonal moving part to a rifle you add a potential failure point.
