I had a truck with a 6NZ and it had a PAC brake not a CAT brake. Jake would be working fine then all of a sudden it goes soft. PAC brake head castings were to thin and they would hairline crack and bypass oil causing the jake to still work but not 100%. Updated ones had heavier castings,problem solved. Jake would be working fine then all of a sudden it goes soft. PAC brake head castings were to thin and they would hairline crack and bypass oil causing the jake to still work but not 100%.
