Yea, I have a monitor mount on a linnmon right now, and it definitely bends towards the weight of the monitor. I've seen ppl just add some material above and below monitor clamp to help distribute the weight. Lagkapten is basically the same as linnmon. Cardboard honeycomb inside a shell. If your linnmon sags, the kagkapten will too. Just bought the 160x80 Trotten with the Olov legs. BE CAREFUL. I just screwed the screws in the desk and they're longer than the thickness of the table. So I just made a hole. There are some pre made holes in the desk, but they're not made for the Trotten desk... I did a custom desk based on the BEKANT legs and a Gerton top, which is a wood top. So basically I did the holes my self with security since the Gerton top was made of real wood.
