All of my pistols of various makes will do this, some more readily than others--probably related to the slide lock design/spring. If you ease the magazine into the well, it won't happen. The gun’s longer grip does limit you to 12 and 15-round magazines and the bigger grip makes the gun harder to conceal, especially when you carry IWB.
