2024 Simplisafe smoke detector not responding - Only the unit that detects smoke and the base unit sound an alarm per an article on the Simplisafe site: If a detector is tripped, only that detector and the base station will sound the alarm. Other smoke detectors will not alarm unless they also detect smoke. This is, imo, an area where they could improve the product.
