Okay I inherited this pistol and want to know what it is worth. It is a Smith and Wesson 32-20 CTG. What does CTG stand for? It has a serial number of 123574, which is stamped on the butt and the inside of the cylinder. I basically want to know how much it is worth and if their is any historical significance. What you have is a .32-20 Hand Ejector Model of 1905, and yours is probably a Second Change revolver (based on the serial number). However, because it is in the "transition range" of serial numbers, it may be a First Change rather than a Second Change.
